In Hungary, the conditions for the employment of occupational health and safety specialists are governed by two interrelated decree. Act XCI-II of 1993 on occupational safety and health, and Decree 5/1993. (26 December 1993) MüM on the implementation of certain provisions of the aforementioned Act, however, the text of the decree was published in a consolidated version with Act XCI-II of 1993. From 1 May 2014, within the meaning of the legislation, the employer is obliged to take into account the criteria , to employ a specified number of with occupational safety qualifications, for at least the specified duration of employment.
